How fast is your internet, really?

A thorough test of download, upload, ping, jitter and your connection under load. Straight from your browser, via the nearest Cloudflare data center.

Takes about 30 to 60 seconds. Close other downloads and streams for the cleanest result.

How we measure

The same measurement engine as speed.cloudflare.com, with a detailed, easy-to-read report.

Measured nearby
Your browser tests against the nearest of Cloudflare’s 300+ data centers, usually one in a major city near you.
Up to 250 MB each way
We start with small files and scale up to 250 MB download and 50 MB upload, until your connection is truly saturated.
The 90th percentile
One outlier doesn’t decide the result. We report what your connection reliably achieves across dozens of measurements.
Ping under load
We also measure your ping while downloading and uploading. That explains choppy video calls better than speed alone.
IPv4, IPv6 and routes
We check whether your connection supports IPv6 and whether your provider blocks invalid internet routes (RPKI).
Private
The test runs entirely in your browser. We don’t store anything; your previous results stay on this device only.
